God created us in love.

Ephesians 1:4-5 tells us,

For he chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will—

Notice, He did this IN LOVE.

Agape is the kind of love by which God did this. Different than romantic love (eros) or familial love (storge) or even brotherly / friendship love (phileo), agape is—

⚙️ Unconditional = it keeps going and persists, even when others might stop love or cancel the relationship

🔒 Unbreakable = once it connects, it stays “locked together” and holds tight

🔥 Unhindered = in the same way fire continues consuming everything in its path, so also does this love push through anything it touches

This, then, is our basis for affirming that you are worthy.
